SWEET NEW BUNNIES AT SHIRLS!
Hello, thank you so much for stopping by! I've just added some cute little ribbon rose bunnies to my Etsy Shop. They are done on white flet with some ribbon rose embroidery, stuffed with poly fill and lavender. I've embroidered with outside edge with a blanket stitch. Then I attached a little gold thread to hang if desired. The cute little tail is made from a cotton ball.

NEW ITEMS ON ETSY
Hello and thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying the winter. If your feeling the way I do then you are so ready for spring!
I've listed some new creations on my Etsy Store and I thought I'd give you a peek at what I've been up to.
Above is a pic of my new Victorian Hearts Garland done in bold Victorian colors. Victorian still tugs at my heart even though I'm now into alot of the Cottage Chic style of decorating.
My hearts can be done in any color so if you want a color that I don't show I'm sure I can come up a color scheme for you.
The above picture is my new heartstrings done using two hearts and I used colors for St. Patricks here. I will also be doing single heartstrings for those that just want one heart. I should have some listed on my Etsy Shop later this week.
These two pictures are of my sweet little tea towels that I've made using some pretty prints from my stash of fabrics. The one above is done using a Susan Branch Afternoon Tea print. Below is a pretty cupcake print with glitter in the fabric.
The pink heartstrings below are up for a giveaway drawing on my regular blog, Shirls Rose Cottage (Pink Saturday Feb. 28 post) . Be sure to stop and enter the drawing before March 10.

First I have for you a Lavender Sleep Pillow embroidered with pale pink silk roses, a basket charm and crystal beads. It's done on a crisp Irish Linen, I made a handmade pillow form with some fresh lavender tucked inside. Just lay this against you bed pillow all day and remove at bedtime, your bed pillow will keep the wonderful fragrance. The Victorians believed that lavender was a calming scent and enduced sleep. The pillow measures apx 12 x7, the cost is $35.00 and shipping is $5.50 priority mail.
A close of of the pretty embroidery work.
Next I have hand made satin strawberries with crystal beads and the large ones have Swarovski Crystals.

First this week I have this adorable vintage ribbon work hankie press. I was told by the shop owner that ladies would keep thier hankies in this. It's done in a light green satin type ribbon with cut out paper scraps. The background is some sort of paper with holes in it. I have seen some vintage cross stitch done on this type of fabric. I don't know the age of it but it's so darn cute. The size is apx. 9 1/2 x 7 1/2. I feel that it is in good condition for the age that it looks to be. The price of this is $10.00 and shipping is $3.00. SOLD THANK YOU!

Next I've made a little Peace hangie that is painted in pink then glittered in pink glitter with a satin bow and vintage millinery flowers. The size of this is 5 3/4 x 3 including the hanger. Price is $7.00 and shipping is $2.00.
This is a fabric wall hanging, a silky type fabric that measures 27 1/2 x 39. It has a pocket to slide a dowel into which you can buy at any hardware store. Shipping would be to high to include the dowel with this purchase. Price is $8.00 and shipping is $3.00
A few closeups of this beautiful beach scene with lighthouse.
Next I have a pretty vintage cup and saucer, it measures apx. 3 inches tall. Price is $6.00 and shipping is $3.00. If you look close at the saucer you can see a few black specks, I don't know what they are, they seem to be fired in the glass.
This darling little teacup would make a cute pincushion or just set on a table with flowers in it. Pretty flowers are on the inside too! It measures apx. 2 3/4" tall. Price is $3.00 and shipping is $3.00.
